These Karashigoi Koi are second-generation fish produced at Marudo Koi Farm, developed from a cross between Marudo’s famous Chagoi and a Konishi Karashigoi male to enhance both body shape and jumbo-growing potential.

Bred for size, balance, and strength, these fish are ideal candidates for long-term development. Each koi has been selected for its powerful bone structure, long head-to-dorsal ratio, and thick peduncle — traits that support significant growth when raised in the right conditions. The line is known for producing fish well in excess of 80–90cm, backed by genetics proven across multiple generations.

Raised in our UK facility since arrival, these Karashigoi have already demonstrated excellent progress in structured grow-out conditions.
